Dua Lipa was born 22nd august 1995, in London United Kingdom. She signed a contract with Warner Bros Records after a couple of years of work and released a self-titled first album in 2017. The album was ranked at number 3 at the U.K. Charts, and also released eight singles. They included Be the One I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. Number One Single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. One track New Rules. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Her album has been certified platinum across the globe in a variety of countries. Dua Lipa was born by London with Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). As a result of her maternal grandparents, Dua Lipa is Bosnian. Her ancestry can be traced back to Peja the city of Kosovo. Two of Lipa's grandfathers were historians. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Her musical inspirations come from her father, who is the guitarist and singer of Kosovan the rock group Oda. Her father played music at home, and included songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead The Police Stereophonics. Lipa started singing at the age of was 5 years old. The Sylvia Young Theater School was the first place she began to sing when she turned nine. Lipa sang in the song If I'm Not Gone You by Alicia Keys, and Beautiful Christina Aguilera. Lipa has signed her first recording deal in 2014 with Warner Bros. Records. New Love was her debut single. New Love was released on August 15th, 2015.
